Aisthesis Interface

Matthew Heywood

Aisthesis as an ontological difference between two orders of reality. Interface as the technique of mediation. Sequencing images as captured through motion data to create synchronicity between viewer and image taker. Finding beauty in the mundane of the non-spaces and infrastructural architecture that occupies space through exhibition as artwork. Through the mobile app users are able to contribute their own perspectives as well as view the images taken by others, mirroring each other’s movements and orientation.
